Over the last almost decade we have helped hundreds of students and employees launch their own transcription business working from home. Here are a few questions we get asked all the time about our program:
Why is your course so much less than others?
Simply put, this is not our full time business, so we aren’t here to just make sales. We actually run a transcription company and focus on our clients. This course was initially created to help our independent contractors learn and we decided to open it up to the general public so others could learn even if they aren’t working for our company.
How much time do I have to complete the course?
You will have access to the course forever, so you can take as long as you need! Most people complete it within 2-4 months.
Is your course AAERT certified? And does that matter?
We are currently working with AAERT to be listed as a certified course, but in the meantime you absolutely do not need an AAERT certification to work in the legal transcribing field. In fact you must have at least a year of experience in order to sit for the certification exam, so obviously you can work without it!
Will you hire me after I finish the course?
If you take our apprentice course you will work with us for 30 days on paid transcripts. There is no guarantee we will hire you after completion, but we always offer openings to past students first, and currently have multiple students working for us.
